What This Page Is
This page describes how Moneyball Pickleball collects SMS consent, what messages are sent, and how to opt in or out. SMS opt-in is completely optional and is never required to register for a tournament, create an account, or use any feature of the app.
Consent is collected as a standalone, separate action â it is never bundled with or required by any other agreement.

What Messages We Send
If you opt in, you may receive the following types of SMS messages:
- Court assignments â "You're up! Saturday Slam - Court 3. Johnson & Lee vs Martinez & Kim. You have 5 minutes."
- Tournament start alerts â Notification that your event has begun and matches are being assigned.
- Round completion updates â Pool play results with a link to live standings.
- Organizer broadcasts â Event-day messages from your tournament organizer (schedule changes, breaks, announcements).
We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages. All messages are operational and directly related to a tournament you have registered for.

How to Opt In
There are two ways to opt in. Both are standalone and independent of any other agreement or registration.
Option 1 â Text a keyword

You will receive a confirmation reply immediately. No app download required. You can also text HELP for information or STOP to opt out at any time.
Option 2 â In-app profile toggle
- Download the Moneyball Pickleball app and sign in to your account.
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation, then open Settings.
- Under Notifications, tap the SMS Notifications toggle to enable it.
- Read and acknowledge the consent disclosure, then confirm.
Consent Disclosure Language
By enabling SMS Notifications (via keyword or in-app toggle), you agree to receive text message notifications about pickleball tournaments you are registered for, including court assignments, match alerts, and organizer broadcasts, from Moneyball Pickleball (Moneyball Brackets L.L.C.).
Message frequency varies by event. Message and data rates may apply. This is optional and is not a condition of tournament registration, account creation, or use of any app feature. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How to Opt Out
You can opt out at any time using any of these methods:
- Reply STOP to any SMS message we send â takes effect immediately.
- Reply HELP for assistance or contact information.
- Toggle off SMS Notifications in your account profile settings â takes effect immediately.
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. You can re-enable SMS at any time from your profile settings.

Additional Details
- SMS consent is never a condition of registering for a tournament, creating an account, or accessing any feature.
- Opt-in checkboxes on tournament signup pages are always unchecked by default and are separate from the registration submission.
- Each consent event is recorded independently â opting in at a tournament signup does not opt in your account profile, and vice versa.
- We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- SMS is sent via Twilio from a registered number assigned to Moneyball Brackets L.L.C.
